Have you ever heard of the ancient practice of yoga? Did you know that moving your body in certain ways can relax you? Jen from Mellow The Mind Yoga is going to get your family moving and connecting with one another during this playful and dynamic class. Through partner poses, games, mindful movement activities, and simple breath techniques, families will leave this class feeling joyful and energized! This workshop is good for the whole family, but recommended ages are 4-10.

MORE ON JEN FROM MELLOW THE MIND YOGA: Jen is a creative and dynamic educator who makes yoga approachable and accessible for everyone, including children. She is committed to a ‘whole person’ approach to teaching, taking into more than just a student’s surface behaviors and appearance. She is a licensed yoga teacher and registered through the Yoga Alliance, RYT-200. She is a licensed master’s level NYS social worker with extensive experience providing services to children and families. Throughout the past 5 years, she worked within a pre-school classroom, developing and implementing social emotional learning curriculum. Since completing her initial yoga teacher training, she has been fortunate to teach in various settings, in-person and virtually including: schools, individual classrooms, camp programs and her current offering of outdoor “Backyard” yoga classes.
