All proceeds will benefit FARE, a national nonprofit organization with the mission of improving the quality of life and the health of individuals with food allergies and providing them hope through the promise of new treatments.
Jocelyn Walls of New Canaan, CT, mom of two boys, one with multiple food allergies, will be recognized for her accomplishments and civic leadership. In 2016, Jocelyn began as Chair of Food Allergy Connecticut, a FARE-recognized support group, and currently serves as Co-Chair of the group. Food Allergy Connecticut offers support coffees, family workshops and an annual Speaker Series to provide education and connect Fairfield County families managing complicated food allergies. Jocelyn has also supported FARE’s Hero’s Walk as the captain of “The E Team” for the past four years, in addition to serving as the Volunteer Chair for the 2015 and 2016 Walk committees.
