The new Bruce Museum is now open! Come visit with friends and family and discover our
magnificent new building with its stunning, open gallery spaces and engaging exhibitions of art
and science. Also be sure to make time to have a coffee or lunch in the new Bruce Café,
managed by Aux Delices and shop in the Museum Store.
Museum hours are:
- Tuesday – Sunday, 10:00am to 5:00pm (last admission at 4:30)
- Closed Mondays
- Reservations are recommended but not required

We have 75 live exhibits featuring nearly 7,000 animals of 363 species. Your Long Island Sound journey begins along a freshwater river and the shallow waters of the salt marsh, then moves into deeper and deeper habitats out to the open ocean.

The mission of The Maritime Aquarium is to inspire people of all ages to appreciate and protect the Long Island Sound and the global environment through living exhibits, marine science, and environmental education.
