Maple sugar season events are set to begin in our area this month!
February through March marks maple sugar season in New York and Connecticut- cold nights and warm sunny days are needed to turn sap into syrup! Maple syrup production is winter farming and, therefore, weather dependent. A typical season is five weeks long and presents an a sweet opportunity for fun outdoor activities for the whole family.
