Tweezerman Point  $15

There is no hair too stubborn, too short or too deep for this tweezer.  I prefer the pointed tip for those hard to grab hairs in places no lady likes to mention.  Thank you tweezerman…. may no hair get left behind!

Professional Blackhead Remover  $6

Moms, don’t waste your time with blackhead removing scrubs and all the fancy multi-tools promising to get rid of black and white heads.  The only tool you will ever need costs $6.  For extra effectiveness, use after a steamy shower to really loosen those pores!

REN Cleansing Water  $21

When I was pregnant with my first, I was concerned about any possible chemicals I was absorbing into my skin.  I typically use facewipes (tip: Marshalls sells them for cheap and with twice as many wipes as CVS) but I wasn’t so sure they were safe. So I consulted with a skincare expert and she recommended REN. This particular cleanser is applied with a cotton pad so it’s just one extra step, but to see the dirt come off is totally satisfying PLUS you know that you are using something safe for that little life inside of you.

Lancome Cleansing Milk  $52

Another cleanser with a heftier price tag, but try it once and you will know why I love it.  If your skin is dull and dry especially in the winter, this cleanser will NOT disappoint.  I’m always fooled by promises of “skin brightening” but once you tissue or rinse this off your skin, it WILL look colorful, soft and alive.  I wouldn’t use on oily skin, but dry to normal, give it a try!

Kerastase Hair Elixir  $37

If you know hair product, you know the quality of Kerastase,  There’s a reason you will find it in most high end hair salons, and the same reason your hairdresser will forcefully add it to your hair at the end of your session.  One tiny drop (which makes it worth the cost) will make your hair silky, shiny and smell terrific.

Shower Comb  $5

I was complaining to my hairdresser that my hair is always so frizzy, no matter what I do.  The first thing she asked was did I comb my hair in the shower, and if I didn’t then I really should.  Aside from the scary hair monster I leave on the wall each morning for my husband to shriek at, it is a lifesaver for my often frizzy hair.  I have NEVER used a brush or comb on dry hair since then.  And I never will!

Oil of Olay Touch of Sun  $40

I don’t know WHY you can no longer find this in brick and mortar stores, but I went looking for it this winter when I was tired of looking like a character from the walking dead. I love the idea of combining sunless tanner into my lotion, and touch of sun really gave me that ‘touch of sun” tint that I really need in the dead of winter.  See what I did there ?

Becca Shimmering Skin  $41

If you can’t tell by now, I’m all about the glow. I don’t necessarily like to shimmer, but I use this instead of blush pretty much every time I go out. It feels great going on and doesn’t give that powdery look that blush gives me.  I also sweep a little on my eyes in lieu of shadow for a more natural appearance.
