From festive parades to family-friendly turkey trots, the Sound Shore area offers a variety of events to help you work up an appetite and kick off the holiday season!
New Rochelle Thanksgiving Parade
Saturday, November 23rd
10am-1pm
The New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce together with the City of New Rochelle announce the 60th Annual Thanksgiving Parade beginning at the Huguenot Children’s Library, 794 North Ave, New Rochelle (Intersection of Eastchester Road and North Avenue) and continuing down North Ave to Bonnefoy Place.

Village of Mamaroneck Turkey Trot
Sunday, November 24th
The Village of Mamaroneck Parks and Recreation Department welcomes runners and spectators for the 58th annual Turkey Trot and Gobbler Race! The event will be held on Sunday, November 24th at Harbor Island Park. Race day registration opens at 8:00am. The 1-mile Gobbler Race will begin at 9:45am and the 5K Turkey Trot will begin after completion of Gobbler Race. All registrants will receive a free t-shirt and medal.
