Red, White & Bubbly Summer Sangria - Sound Shore Moms of Westchester

Summer gatherings call for a refreshing drink that’s easy to make and fun to serve. This red, white & bubbly sangria is the perfect addition to Fourth of July celebrations, Labor Day BBQs, or any warm-weather get-together. Lifevine makes a great base for this recipe because their wines are zero sugar, clean, and made with transparency in mind. Add fresh fruit and you have a festive drink that’s light, refreshing, and perfect for summer entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Lifevine Pinot Noir
  • 1 bottle Lifevine Blanc de Blanc
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1–2 apples, sliced or cut into fun shapes (I attempted to do stars)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup or a splash of orange juice (depending on how sweet you want it)

Directions

  1. Add red wine, fruit, and cranberry juice to a pitcher.
  2. Chill for at least 2 hours so the flavors blend.
  3. Right before serving, add the chilled Blanc de Blancs.
  4. Serve over ice with extra strawberries and apple slices.
