Fresh, flavorful, Fast and Friendly…All day and every day. Now that’s a mission statement that we can
get behind. Bango Bowls, a quick serve concept that was founded in 2017 by four long life friends have
started to see their constant menu innovation start to pay dividends. CEO and co-founder, Ryan
Thorman left his career in advertising sales at LinkedIn to take over as CEO in Bango Bowls in 2019.
Since 2019, the focus of the menu has shifted from just acai bowls to a larger offering that includes
salads, warm grain bowls, poke bowls and now avocado toast and flanini’s (their name for a flatbread
“Don’t get me wrong we think our acai bowls are first in class and are thrilled to continue building on
that as one of our core products. With that said, we are equally excited about the addition of salads,
warm grain bowls and poke bowls to our menus. More recently we have even added avocado toasts and
our Flanini’s that are out of this world”, says CEO Ryan Thorman.
Bango Bowls has made a cognizant
effort to eliminate the “veto vote” within a family when deciding what’s for dinner. When they served
only acai bowls, the whole family had to want an acai bowl but now with an expanded menu they have
an option for everyone in the family. The kids can grab an acai bowl, mom and dad can grab a salad or
one of their original poke bowls. Bango Bowls focuses on fresh and flavorful food when it comes to
everything on their menu. They cook everything in house including their roasted chicken and selection
of roasted vegetables. They are also making all of their proprietary salad dressings in house. Their
lemon basil ranch salad dressing is on another level.
