Juneteenth Celebration at Westchester Children’s Museum

Join us as we celebrate Juneteenth with a day of creativity, culture, and community at the Museum! Children and families can create freedom flags and unity bracelets inspired by the colors of the Pan-African flag while learning about the importance of freedom, resilience, and unity. Visitors can also take part in an interactive drum circle celebration filled with rhythm, music, and joyful community connection.
Crafts and Activities: 10:30 AM–12:30 PM & 2:00–4:00 PM
Also, Subomi Macaulay the African Storyteller will be visiting our Pretend Play Stage for a read aloud of her book, Mumba the Lion Who Forgot to Roar.
