Rye and Rye Brook Events:

The Village of Rye Brook is hosting a variety of free community events this summer, perfect for families looking to enjoy the season close to home. From outdoor concerts and movie nights in the park to seasonal celebrations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Visit ryebrookny.gov/events for the full schedule.

The 2025 Summer Concert Series at Rye Town Park is a great way to enjoy live music by the water all season long. Bring a blanket or chair and settle in for an evening of community and entertainment. Crawford Park’s Great Lawn Summer Series is back for 2025 with a full lineup of free, family-friendly entertainment. Enjoy live music performances and outdoor movie nights throughout the summer and early fall. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and relax with the community- no tickets needed and events will not sell out.

White Plains Hospital Presents: Screenings Under the Stars!

Get ready for an incredible summer of movies under the sky! Westchester County Parks and Sharc Creative proudly present the White Plains Hospital Screenings Under the Stars series. This popular event features three action-packed, adventurous films rated PG and released within the past year, perfect for family fun.

Admission and parking are FREE! (Westchester residency is required for entry to the parks listed). Pre-movie entertainment kicks off at 5 p.m., with movies beginning at sundown. Remember to bring your blankets, folding chairs, and a picnic, though refreshments will also be available for sale. Events are rain or shine, but movies may be canceled due to severe inclement weather.

LIVE MUSIC

The Village of Mamaroneck Arts Council, in collaboration with Parks & Recreation, is presenting a Free Summer Concert Series. This exciting series showcases Motown and Funk bands, inviting the community to bring their dancing shoes and a picnic for an evening of live music in the park. Each performance is designed to last 60 minutes. The concert schedule includes “Seeing Red” at Florence Park on July 11, the Russ Davis Band at Columbus Park on July 18, and “The Saints” at Florence Park on July 25. Enjoy Scenic Rides at Bicycle Sundays on the Bronx River Parkway!

Experience the joy of open roads and fresh air with Bicycle Sundays, a cherished Westchester County tradition since 1974! On select Sundays during the warmer months, a scenic 6.5-mile stretch of the historic Bronx River Parkway is transformed into a car-free paradise.

This popular recreational program welcomes non-motorized bicyclists, scooters, in-line skaters (e-bike class 1 only), walkers, and joggers of all ages. Admission is FREE, and free parking is conveniently available at the East Lot of the Westchester County Center. The route offers a round-trip distance of 13 miles, with various entry and exit points along the parkway from Exit 22 (Westchester County Center) to Exit 4 (Scarsdale Road in Yonkers).

Bicycle Sundays is presented by Westchester County Parks and supported by the Westchester Parks Foundation and its partners. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy a unique, active experience!

Get Ready to Hula! It’s the 8th Annual Tiki Party at Harbor Island Park!

This is one of my favorite local events of the summer and I’m excited that Sound Shore Moms is a sponsor! LMC Media and the Village of Mamaroneck Parks and Recreation will once again host the wildly popular Tiki Party at Harbor Island Park July 11, starting at 6 PM.

This fantastic event promises an unforgettable experience with FREE admission! Enjoy a fun atmosphere featuring delicious food trucks, lively live music, fire dancers, and a special movie night under the stars.
