Cross County Center is packed with festive fun all season long. Families can visit Santa for photos through December 24, with special pet sessions, sensory-friendly hours, and the new Cowboy Claus theme. From November 14 to January 4, enjoy the Holiday Food Truck Market on The Green, plus a pop-up ice skating rink perfect for young skaters. Weekends in December feature the 914PopUps Holiday Vendor Market with a rotating lineup of local makers. New York Botanical Garden Train Show
After more than three decades, the Holiday Train Show continues to delight as New York City’s favorite winter tradition and a can’t-miss adventure. The timeless magic of rail travel fills NYBG with seasonal cheer as model trains travel over famous bridges and through familiar city settings, bringing nearly 200 twinkling landmark replicas—including new surprises for 2025/2026—to life under the glass of the warm and welcoming Enid A.
