My children’s book, Love…is Everywhere, was inspired by the bond between a mother and her child. I have 3-year-old twins at home, and pregnant with my 3rd on the way, and was extremely close to my mom growing up. My book transformed into the idea of finding love everywhere. My mom, Patricia Pisacane, passed away from Pancreatic cancer on September 21st, 2022.
While she was fighting this horrible disease, this book took a new form, I based it on how my mom found love and joy in all the small things. It didn’t have to be a big event or a special occasion, it could be something as simple as jumping in the rain while it was raining outside or playing in a pile of leaves. She found love everywhere. This is something I think we forget in our busy, daily lives.
In my book, we follow a young girl, who was inspired by my daughter Gabriella, on her journey to finding love in everyday things. My main character realizes that love is not just one thing, but all around her…it’s everywhere. It emphasizes the theme that love is universal.
