Meet Nutcha Caiola, a Westchester mom turning her lifelong passion for travel into something truly meaningful for other families. With a background in the airline industry and a love for planning, she now helps families create seamless, memorable Disney vacations filled with less stress and more magic.
Where are you from and where do you live now?
Originally, I’m from Thailand. Now I live with my family in West Harrison.
Tell us about your family!
My husband and I met while working for an airline—Norwegian Air in 2016, which is where our shared love of travel really began. We have a 6-year-old daughter who keeps us busy and makes every trip even more special. She’s a pro traveler, of course! As a family, we’re always on the go—whether it’s traveling for hockey (for our nephew) or heading out on vacations together. Traveling has become a big part of our lifestyle, and we love creating those memories as a family.
Can you tell us a little about your professional background and what led you to become a Disney travel planner?
As mentioned earlier, my husband and I both worked in the airline industry—I was with Qatar Airways before Norwegian Air—so travel has always been a big part of our lives. With that came a lot of planning, organization, and attention to detail. When we took our daughter to Disney, we had an amazing time, but we also realized there were so many things we could have done differently to make the experience smoother and even more magical. That really opened my eyes to how much strategy goes into a Disney trip.
I found myself diving deeper into learning all the tips, tools, and insider knowledge, and I genuinely enjoyed the process. It felt like a natural transition to take my background in travel and planning and turn it into something where I could help other families avoid the same mistakes and truly make the most of their vacations. Becoming a Disney travel planner allowed me to combine my passion for travel, my professional experience, and my love of helping others create unforgettable experiences.
What do you love most about helping families plan their Disney vacations?
What I love most is seeing something I’ve planned turn into a core memory for a family—it’s never just a vacation. For a lot of families, a Disney trip is something they save for over time, and that makes it even more meaningful. I really take that to heart. I want to make sure they get the absolute most out of every moment—less stress, more magic, and memories they’ll be talking about for years.
For someone who has never been to Disney, what are a few things they should know before booking their first trip?
For someone planning their first Disney trip, the biggest thing to know is that it’s not your typical vacation. There’s a lot of planning that goes into it, and that planning really makes a difference for your trip.
Timing matters; when you go can impact crowds, pricing, and even your overall enjoyment. Second, where you stay plays a big role—Disney resorts come with perks and convenience that can make your trip much smoother, especially for first-time visitors.
Another big tip is to have a plan for your park days. You don’t need to schedule every minute; pick what’s right for your family, and having a general game plan helps you avoid long waits and missed experiences.
And lastly, don’t try to do everything. Focusing on what matters most to your family will make the trip far more enjoyable.
What does your planning process typically look like for families?
My planning process is very personalized and starts with getting to know each family first. I begin with a simple intake form to understand travel dates, budget, group size, and what kind of experience they’re looking for.
From there, I build out tailored options for resorts, park tickets, and dining based on their priorities. Once we lock in the main pieces, I help map out a daily park strategy that balances must-do attractions, dining reservations, and downtime so the trip feels organized but not overwhelming.
I also stay available for ongoing support—answering questions, making adjustments, and providing tips right up until travel. The goal is to take the guesswork out of the process so families can focus on enjoying the trip.
What are some of the biggest mistakes families make when planning a Disney trip on their own?
One of the biggest mistakes I see is families choosing to stay off Disney property. While it might seem like a way to save money upfront, they often miss out on so many valuable perks that can really enhance the entire experience—like early park entry, complimentary transportation, and the convenience of being close to everything.
Another big one is not planning a rest day. Disney trips are amazing, but they can also be exhausting—especially for kids. Trying to pack the parks in every single day can lead to burnout pretty quickly. I always recommend building in a rest or resort day to recharge, enjoy the hotel, and slow things down a bit. It helps everyone reset so you feel excited instead of overwhelmed.
Your services are free, which is amazing. Can you explain how that works and what’s included when someone books with you?
Yes! One of the best parts about working with me is that my services are completely free. I get paid by Disney after your trip, so there’s no extra cost to you—but you still get all the help and support along the way.
When you reach out, I’ll have you fill out a quick form with some basics—like how many days you’re thinking, your budget, and the type of resort or hotel you’re interested in. If it’s your first time at Disney, don’t worry at all—that’s actually my favorite! I’ll ask plenty of questions to get a feel for what your family likes and then put together options for you to compare.
From there, I help with everything from choosing the right resort and park tickets to dining recommendations, daily planning, and tips to make your trip as smooth and magical as possible. My goal is to take the stress off your plate so you can enjoy the experience.

We love supporting local businesses here in Westchester. It really does make the community feel special. One of our go-to spots is Graziella’s Market, just a few blocks from us in West Harrison. We’re there all the time for fresh Italian food and imported groceries—they seriously have one of the best meat selections around.
For dinner, we like Moderne Barn a lot. It’s that perfect mix of nice but still comfortable. It’s our go-to spot.
