One of my favorite parts about living in the Sound Shore area is the access we have to the water. My husband loves to fish, so we booked the sunset trip on the Sound Bound Star out of New Rochelle to celebrate his birthday. We brought along some friends and coolers and had such a fun night!
Brendan and his entire staff were so friendly and helpful. I am definitely not experienced in fishing, and everyone was so patient and gave us some great tips on what to do. I would recommend Sound Bound Fishing to anyone looking to get out on the water, even if you aren’t a serious fisherman. This makes a unique date night or parents night out, and it’s also such a fun adventure to take the kids on! I know my 6 year olds would love this and I can’t wait to bring them. The Sound Bound Star also has an upper deck and inside cabin if you want to take a break and just enjoy the views or have something to eat.

Our first few catches were small throw back fish like the cute one pictured here. This is just a teaser photo- later in the trip, the entire boat was hauling in HUGE fish and filling up their buckets.
