We are board certified pediatric dentists in a state-of-the-art dental facility in Harrison, NY. Our mission is to create a fun, friendly, and loving environment for all children and their parents while educating them about the importance of oral health. We believe in fostering fear-free dental experiences so your child never has to be afraid of the dentist as an adult! We specialize in dentistry for infants, children, adolescents, and those with special health care needs.
Tips for a Healthy Smile:
1. Visit the dentist by Age 1
2. Brush your teeth twice a day for 2 minutes with a fluoride toothpaste
3. Floss in between your teeth daily
4. Eat a healthy diet that limits sugary beverages and snacks
5. Drink lots of water
6. See your dentist every 6 months for prevention and treatment of oral disease
7. Call your dentist right away with any concerns or emergencies
Meet the Doctors:
Dr. Eileen Calamia grew up in Orange County, California and currently lives in Manhattan with her husband, also a dentist, and daughter Vienna. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California, Irvine and then pursued her dreams of becoming a dentist at the New York University College of Dentistry.
Dr Calamia believes in establishing good, healthy oral hygiene habits at a very young age. Not only does she focus on providing a fun and caring atmosphere, but she also values educating parents about a well balanced diet and preventative care.
“Dr. Cristina” Georgescu was born in Romania and currently lives in Fresh Meadows, Queens. As a young child, she did not have access to proper dental care which resulted in numerous procedures and visits to the dentist. Experiencing first-hand the stress and anxiety of these visits, Dr. Cristina decided to pursue her dream of building a fun, fear-free dental practice.
She received her B.S. in Biology from St. John’s University and went on to Columbia University School of Dental Medicine to fulfill her passion of becoming a pediatric dentist.
