Easter Egg Hunts

Bunny Hop at Ridge Hill

The Easter Bunny has delivered eggs and we need your help to collect them all! Children are invited to join us for an Easter Egg Hunt, as they collect eggs that will be scattered throughout the South Lawn. The children will gather ten eggs and bring them to the trade-in tent to receive a bag of treats. We will have two hunts to ensure all of our little bunnies can join in on the fun!


Village of Mamaroneck Egg Hunt on the Beach
Stephen E. Johnston Beach at Harbor Island, Mamaroneck

The Village of Mamaroneck Parks and Recreation Department, in conjunction with Village of Mamaroneck PBA, presents the 3rd annual Spring Egg Hunt! Celebrate the arrival of an “early” spring season on Saturday, March 23rd, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Stephen E. Johnston Beach located in Harbor Island Park. Children will enjoy activities including carnival games, face painting, seed planting and egg hunting! Hot chocolate and cotton candy will be available for guests to enjoy. Making his annual appearance, Cottontail the rabbit will be hopping around and will be available for photos with the children. The Spring Egg Hunt event is FREE and available to Village of Mamaroneck residents ONLY. Spring Egg Hunt bags will be provided.


Salesian High School Egg Hunt
148 East Main Street, New Rochelle
3/23 1:00 – 3:00 pm

Enjoy an Easter egg hunt on the campus of Salesian High School. Admission includes the egg hunt and a photo with the Easter Bunny. Admission price covers admittance for one family.


Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard Egg Hunt

Each ticket includes an egg hunt session, sack for collecting eggs, visit with the Easter bunny and a set of bunny ears. Three age groups for the egg hunt are offered.


Eggstravaganza at The Barley Beach House
95 Dearborn Avenue, Rye
3/23, 3/24 & 3/30 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Join us for a EGGSTRAVANGANZA of a day in Rye Town Park! We planned a full day of fun filled family activities for adults and kids of all ages. All food tickets include an Easter Egg hunt for kids (hunts at 1130 & 130pm), Unlimited bounce in our jumbo bounce castle, bubble zone, DJ dance party, face painting and access to 30 hand crafted vendors to shop from. Adult egg hunt starts at 2pm with over $3000 in prizes (see below for list of prizes). $15 off adult egg hunt tickets with purchase of any breakfast package.

Carole D. Kirby Memorial Easter Egg Hunt at Rye Recreation Park
281 Midland Avenue, Rye

Line up to hunt for chocolate eggs at the Rye recreational field. Hunters are divided into different sections based on age group. Line-up for this Easter egg hunt, near the tennis courts, is at 10:30am, and the hunt begins at 11am. Event is open to Rye residents only.


Community Egg Hunt at The Osborn
101 Theall Road, Rye
3/30 10:45 am – 12:00 pm

The Osborn welcomes the community for a morning full of springtime and Easter fun.  During the festivities, 6,000 candy-filled Easter eggs will be hidden for children to find, gather, and enjoy. The event also features games, dancing, and a visit from the Easter Bunny! The festivities also feature carnival games and refreshments available for purchase. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos during the event. The event is free and open to the public and pre-registration is NOT required. The hunt begins promptly at 11:15 am with gates opening at 10:45 am. The Osborn is located at 101 Theall Road in Rye (just off Playland Parkway Access). Participants should bring their own baskets to gather eggs.
